The Idaho State Tax Commission is seeking applicants for our Tax Appeals Manager. This position is responsible for providing an administrative review and resolution process for tax appeals that is impartial, fair and equitable to the taxpayer and the State of Idaho.  The primary purpose of the Appeals Manager is to manage all activities of the tax appeals unit to ensure tax disputes are resolved in an informal, expeditious and consistent manner, and a determination is made as to the correct amount of tax owed.   The Tax Commission has four tax commissioners that hear and decide tax appeals cases, work with the Governor’s office and Legislature, and participate in strategic planning.
